Dr. Kristie Blevins teaches courses in Corrections and Research Methodology.  Her research interests include corrections, crime prevention, public opinion regarding criminal justice issues, and occupational reactions and attitudes of employees in the criminal justice system.  Recently, she served as co-editor and contributing co-author of Taking Stock: The Status of Criminological Theory.  She is currently involved in field research exploring the attributes, drug habits, and motivations of solicitors of prostitutes in a southern metropolitan area.
